How do I book a tour?

    Click on a tour and then "Book Now". Then you will see our booking calendar and which time slots are available. Select the date and click on the available time (note it is in your timezone). Click "Next". Then fill out your details (1 connection is on screen in zoom. Many persons can be on 1 connection) and click "Book now". Immediately you will receive and email confirmation. (If not, please check your junk/spam/promotions mail box before contacting us). 

How do I cancel my booking?

    Send us an e-mail with your name and date of the tour and we will cancel it. ​(cancellation:

   NOT YET: We are working on adding a cancellation-link in the confirmation e-mail, so hopefully that will work for you as well. 

What is the language of the tour?

    The title of the tour will indicate which language the tour will be held in. Please join in on the language-specific zoom link in the confirmation e-mail. Tours in Danish, English and French are the tour guide talking. Spanish and Portuguese tours are interpreted from English, so first the tour guide will talk in English and then it will be translated. Most text and the quizzes will be in Spanish. We cannot do it simultaneous because we do not have a large zoom account.  

How long is a virtual tour?

    We try to keep it max. 1 hour, but we have extra time afterwards for questions and "hygge", The duration time at your booking is the time the tour guide has set aside for you. Translated tours might be longer and there will be a short break in the middle.

What is the price?

    Your pay with your time and appreciation. Our tours are COMPLETELY FREE and we do not accept any sort of donations. We are non-commercial and do it voluntarily in our spare-time. We just want to share some upbuilding moments with friends from around the world. Your best way of showing appreciation is to let other friends know about the tours so that more can join and enjoy. Or maybe you can book for a housebound brother or sister who needs a break and a trip abroad - even though it is just in zoom.

There is no date available?

    Maybe no tour is planned yet, or the scheduled tours have been fully booked. We try to publish dates 2-3 months in advance, so, please, try again later. If you have a specific wish about date and time (please state GMT-zone) and for how many connections, please fill out the form at the bottom of the this webpage or send an email

What timezone is the tour? Is it in my time-zone?

    Your booking should be in your GMT zone. For comparison or if you changed it when you did the booking, note that Denmark has daylight-saving so it will be either CET (Central European Time, GMT+1) or CEST (Central European Summer Time, GMT+2). Please double check with a time converter:

When will I receive details on my tour?

    When you book a tour you will immediately receive a confirmation e-mail with the all the details. 24hr before tour start you will receive a general reminder. Sometimes even a direct reminder from your tour guide.

What do you mean by "connections"?

    We give the tour via Zoom video conferencing, so 1 connection is 1 device which connects in. We have a limit of maximum 100 connections in zoom. Some tours are offered with max 50 connections - we do this to keep the groups smaller and more enjoyable for both guides and participants. You can book max 25 connections per booking. Do you need more, please repeat the booking or contact us directly.

Where do I find the pdf for the tour?

    All extra material is located here.

Can I stream the programme to other people? Can I record it for the use of others or my personal use?

    No! We do not want to violate any copyrights and we want all tour participants to be actively connected and participate in the tour. So any sort of recordings are not permitted. 

Do you recommend other virtual tours?

    Yes, we enjoy and attend virtual tours ourselves, when time allows us. At the end of each tour we might give a list of recommendation, otherwise please find one here
